Connecticut and some determined pumpkin carvers!
Connecticut is a pretty magical place, especially during the fall. I was lucky enough to visit with my friend Dani. Here are some pictures to get you inspired for the fall and thanksgiving right around the corner.

Above is the train stop in Westport. Unfortunately we had some”Mechanical problems” so we needed to switch machinery. Erin “So they mean we are switching trains when they say machinery, huh”. The mechanics would talk over the main intercom, like they thought it would calm us. That or tthey just plain forgot they were on the intercom.
She just came right up to me and just stared right back at me through my lens. Kids are fearless. They really are.
Here is Erin our hostess. She made the most amazing apple cider, this place was out of the movies.
Below is what determination looks like. I was afraid to carve because these kids were legit.
Erin showed us her sons favorite stuffed toy, Monkey. (Below.)
After watching some football we took the train home back into the city. It was the perfect day to really get a grasp on what life is all about. As we stood at the station. Fathers and Son’s lined the deck wearing there Yankees hats, the series was just hours away. I could definitely see myself raising a family here. There is also a lot of fishing done all year in this spot. I did’nt get any pictures of the dock. But as you can imagine…Its stunning. BE GOOD PEOPLE.

We never see Fall here – except in the summer when the leaves finally “fall” off the trees due to heat! Thank you for letting me enjoy the Fall colors and the feelings that come with it! The pic of the lil guy resting his head on the monkey is priceless!!!
Ahhhh I feel the same as Karen, thanks so much for sharing the fall ambiance and colors from back East!! It’s one aspect of living with that kind of nature that is so beautiful, and I do miss it. Seeing it in these pictures really does inspire the fall spirit in me!! The train station shots are my favorite
Hi Grant, thanks so much for the beautiful CT pictures. They brought back a lot of memories, especially your cover shot of the sinuous road and colorful foliage. I remember driving down some very similar roads when we lived in CT, listening to the Chocolat soundtrack. That really was the definition of fall to me. Hugs!
