I am fascinated by people. Just watching how people work, and the little amusing things they do. Its why I like photography. You get to freeze those moments for a lifetime. I didn’t really want to sneak a photo of this girl but she was an interesting subject and through the little video I took of her while riding the subway you can see the moments that you can catch if you just wait patiently, while your subject becomes comfortable with you.

YES! it’s him. One of the highest paid and my most respected photographer, Terry Richardson. Many of you have probably heard of him working away in the fashion industry. He is known for shockingly explicit photography, as well as using a point and shoot camera! His work is nothing short of fantastic, it has such a youthful energy that just draws people out and into Terry-land. Below is a really great interview he did a while back while shooting for Belvedere vodka. This just goes to show that there are no rules in the realm of creativity. Just do what you love. Mark For the rest of the Portraits click on more. Be good people. I love spending my summers in California. Really you can’t beat it. We get some of the best sun at a cool 80 degrees. But one thing you don’t get in the golden state is lightning! The monsoon season in Arizona is unbeatable. The hot storms that hit late august will keep you up till the late hours with thunder. Often it would wake me up around 3am, so I would just watch the lightning shows from the living room with the rest of the family in the dark. I recently stumbled upon this video, it has no sound(because it’s in super slow-mo) but I’m hoping you can use some imagination. F-ing nature you can’t beat it. Till next be good people. I’m a huge fan of Spike Jonze! Don’t know him? He is the hillbilly character (Conrad Vig) in the 1999 film Three Kings starring George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg. Still don’t know.. Click HERE and polish up on your film knowledge. Spike is known for a long list of music videos, including artists like Fatboy Slim, Weezer, and DAFT punk!! Don’t forget the portal on the 7th and 1/2 floor. Yes he also directed Being John Malkovich. His creativity is inspiring, and I love that he often uses Guerrilla filmaking techniques. I also like to use real locations, small crews and often natural light. It keeps you alive and the process fun! Enjoy his newest skateboarding video (it’s in slow-mo, be patient it’s cool. You can skip the first 45 seconds if need be) and look for his next motion picture, Where the Wild Things Are. Coming soon! Till the next post, be good people. And of course the BEER we had to leave at base-camp. Not that you really need to bring your own, they’re practically handing them out! I do however recommend you wear a life jacket to this event. We did.  Logan puts on his life-jacket for today's events, The previous night was a rough one. But a quick glance at facebook gives you all the liberal spirit you need!
